Landscape with a fairytale charm - recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO - Cappadocia remains steeped in prayer and permeated with spirituality. Precisely for this reason, many, of various religions, feel its call and go there in search of contemplative silence.

Furthermore, in the area, there are numerous Christian refugees, both Iraqi and Syrian, without churches or pastors. From March to October then, there is no shortage of pilgrims - individuals and groups - who ask for a chapel to gather in prayer and celebrate the Eucharist.

Uçhisar is well connected by minibus with NevÅŸehir which is 8 km away, a tourist hub of one hundred and twenty thousand inhabitants, home to a modern airport - well connected to the main Turkish cities with daily flights, even low cost - and an excellent hospital.
